I am in the best physical shape of my adult life as a direct result of the Adult Edge Program. The focus is on aerobic, weight training and core exercise, all of which are necessary to reach that goal. Aerobic is pretty easy to do on your own, weights and toning are the challenge. If it hurts, I quit. In class, if my teammate can keep going so can I. Being in great physical shape keeps the mind healthy, which in turn helps me deal better with stressors in my life.

When I first started the class my plan was to just go through the winter months but I haven’t been able to give it up. Physically I have come a long way and continue to strive to push myself. My endurance level has improved tremendously, as well as, being able to keep the weight off that I have lost.

We now have an Adult Soccer class on Tuesdays. I love Tuesdays! It gives me a new appreciation when watching my daughter play soccer. We have a lot of fun and a great workout without even really realizing we worked so hard.
